SafeOpen Basic (limited Health & Safety applications)

SafeOpen Basic (patent pending) is used where you may want to push a door forward, without using a shoulder. It can sit opposite SafeOpen Ergo and act as Backing Plate.

Although it can be used instead of SafeOpen Ergo for inward opening doors (left or right) we only recommend SafeOpen Basic in this instance where the door is very light and where ergonomics may be less of an issue. Further, we do recommend it is used only where the door has got a window so you can see incoming colleagues. It is not a full alternative to SafeOpen Ergo, so if in doubt, go with Ergo.

With SafeOpen Basic, there is foot clearance built in.
